1. WHO WE ARE

2. WHAT WE COLLECT
Identity and contact details: name, email, phone, delivery and billing address.
Order details: products bought, subscriptions, returns and refills.
Payment details: handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Your messages to us: emails, chat, consultation forms, reviews, and anything you tell us about your skin to help us advise you.
Website data: device, browser, pages visited and how you arrived, collected through cookies (section 7).
3. HOW WE USE IT, AND OUR LEGAL BASIS
To take, deliver and support your orders, subscriptions, returns and refills: contract.
To send marketing emails and texts: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To respond to your questions and complaints: legitimate interests.
To improve our Website and products, and prevent fraud: legitimate interests.
To record and investigate skin reactions: legal obligation (cosmetics safety).
To keep accounting and tax records: legal obligation.
If you tell us about a skin condition, we use it only to help you, and only with your consent.
4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers who help us run Star Seed, under contracts that protect it: website and checkout (Wix), payments (our payment provider), fulfilment (Tempest Limited) and delivery (Royal Mail), email marketing (Klaviyo), reviews (Fera), and advertising and analytics (Meta, Google). We may also share data where the law requires it.
5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to protect it.
6. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Order and payment records: 6 years, to meet tax law.
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe, or 3 years after your last order or interaction.
Skin reaction reports: as long as cosmetics safety rules require.
7. COOKIES
We use essential cookies to make the Website work. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, move it to another provider, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@starseednatural.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
9. CHILDREN
Our Website is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. CHANGES
We will post any changes here and update the date below. If a change is significant, we will email you.
